If you haven’t had a chance to visit the scenic Anacortes, WA waterfront restaurant that is Anthony’s at Cap Sante, you are missing out on a fantastic way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Besides enjoying views of a busy marina, and sampling delicious Northwest fresh food, patrons will soon be able to enjoy outdoor dining thanks to an expanded patio area that offers space to relax, eat, drink and even play a bocce ball game.

Custom Concrete Contracting poured and broom finished the concrete surfaces around the new bocce ball court (photo above)—the bocce court space will be filled with crushed oyster shells supplied by another vendor.

With NW Washington’s temperate climate, the new bocce court is an outdoor recreation space that should be dry and usable most months of the year.

In addition to laying concrete for the new bocce court, Custom Concrete Contracting also completed broom finished sidewalks, stairs and ADA ramps. Overall, our team poured approximately 150 yards of concrete, 6,000+ square feet of flat work plus three sets of stairs (photo below).

One interesting design feature of the new patio at Anthony’s was the inclusion of decorative concrete joints that added visual interest to the concrete surface. Adding decorative concrete joints required our flatwork finishers to hand-tool 2.5’ x 2.5’ decorative squares (photo below). Looks great right?
